i love taking hudson to the park.

we were lucky enough to have my mother grace us with her presence today also!

hudson is all over the place; in the grass, on the playground, in the swings.

im pretty sure the swings are his favorite, if you cant tell by the look on his face.

this little boy is the light of my life.

and pretty much everyone elses.

he is wild, loud, and interested.

we are so lucky to have him.

i cant believe it, where has the last year gone?

it's amazing how much they grow in just one year.

i love everyday of it.

hudson has never had any kind of sweets, so this was a real treat for him.

we made vegan cupcakes, and they were pretty yummy.

i liked the chocolate ones MUCH more than the vanilla.

but.

thats just me.

he is so cute.

loved his balloons.

and his presents.

and his bestie.

and his FOUR-WHEELER!

that thing is so cool, it only goes two mph in one direction.

he is mastering the button that makes it go right now.

jade and i took hudson and parks to the pool yesterday!

we were bummed because the outdoor pool wasnt open yet, but we still had a blast!

they were so stoked to be in the water, and they loved splashing and kicking and biting their floaties.

boys rock, for sure.

jade and i have been hanging out with the boys alot lately.

the weather has been awesome, and they are at such a fun stage!

we decided to take them to nisson park so they could just run around and we could get some much needed chit-chat. sounds fun, right?

our hands were so full, they were overflowing with these two little guys!

they are both so busy running(well, trying to anyway), walking, tripping over there shoes, crawling, putting everything in their mouths..

this year we did something different, and it was so much fun! my mom and i made little eggs out of felt, and then painted them with puff paint. they were so easy, and they turned out really cute, and i will for sure be doing them every year from now on.

i had to work at one, so we had a little brunch with my parents and grandparents.
it was so yummy.

because hudson isnt a year old just yet (but he will be soon!) we decided against an easter egg hunt and basket.
so we just took him outside to play, and where does he like to play, you ask?
not on the grass like a normal child!
oh no, he looooves playing with the rocks.
he picks them up one by one, shows everyone, puts them back, and starts over again.

we took the boys out for some play time, and it was SO MUCH FUN!

steve and i have such a fantastic time with hudson, everyday is better than the last.
having to go back to work has been alittle hard on me.
i enjoy getting out for a few hours, but it is so hard to leave that precious face night after night.

alba, sariah, and i took hudson to feed the ducks today.

hudson just kept saying, "duck.duck.duck."

he is so cute.

so is sariah.

i remember when i was little, my nana+papa took me to feed the ducks.

it's one of the only memories i have of my papa and i love it.

i had fuuun!
